Has any body shot it next to the chill r? I am going to before I buy either one. I was set on the r but I went to the store and saw the x which is a little longer ata and that is good for my big frame plus the more forgiving brace height. Just curious what the other long armed archers thought?

Call Brian at On Target Archery. He just switched from the chill R to the X and has a 32" draw. He would have some good insight for you and is not biased on brands. They are a sponsor on here.

I did shoot the X before I ordered the R. It also shot awesome, I just prefer the shorter ATA with my 28" DL and my tight hunting spots.

I just bought my daughter the chill sdx and it is shooting 43fps faster than her old bow with the same arrows at the same draw weight And that is with the 85% rock mods. It is very impressive.

The original mods are 80% and the new rock mods are 75 and 85.
The chrono difference between the 75 and 85 on my 60 lb draw setup was @ 4fps, but the back wall difference was huge. It feels like the 75 was shortening the draw length some and the 85 back wall is awesome; Zero creep, I can hold forever...mayb longer (grin).
