      See how long that thief's arms are? That's why the small square coon cages don't work as they can reach in all the way to the spinner plate and help themselves to your corn. 1" mesh and same diameter as the 55-gal drum!!!!

                      They come to our covered trough feeders and eat out a depression in the protein pellets. Then they turn over and lay in it like a bean bag chair. I've even got one picture somewhere of one bearing his teeth at a buck that tries to come eat. At that point, we started killing the little bandits!!

                        time for some duke traps... we are going through protein at our place every 3-3.5 weeks.. anxious to check my camera and see how many we have dang coons are in the pics..

                          I picked up a few of the Z traps. Love em. Ive had the Duke traps and nothing wrong with them, but the Z traps are just better IMO. Try one and you'll see.
