I had a stack of books I had bought and just hadn't had time to catch up on and suddenly the .05 chance (apparently) that my body would attack and reject the Vicryl (body absorbing) stitches inside my knee replacement came to pass...I drew the black bean and have spent the last two weekends with my knee up and iced while my body fights it out with the stitches still in my knee that didn't absorb. Work is still work and I constantly aggravate them Monday to Friday although I'm not sure it really matters...
ANYWAY...
I'm a voracious reader when I read and knock out a book a day when I make the time (which is rare) and just finished a gut wrenching non-fiction About PTSD and suicide related to Iraq and Afghanistan by David Finkel.

Guys, if you haven't read it then I highly, highly recommend it. It is just as real as it gets and I will never view our vets returning from that awful piece of the world the same again.
