Don't even get me started from the PD side. I've taken 15 calls for service in 7 hours, including 3 domestics and the rest were fireworks.

we sat at the airport on top of the rimrock here in Montana and watched and listened the fire trucks run back and forth from scene to scene

lightning, wind and fireworks - in the canyons. And it doesn't get dark until after 10 pm, so everyone had a really good chance to get good and drunk.

gonna be a busy night for them.

I worked Thursday, holiday traffic on I35 was crazy! My engine ran 14 calls after 4:30. Been off Friday and today, working Sunday so we'll catch the return home from vacation traffic.

They shut down the lake swimming area at 10 am this morning due to the amount of people already there.... I see another long night!!!

Thank You! Chef, I put 14 years on a Volunteer Fire Dept, until I moved. Most volunteers don't get the acknowledgment they deserve! To this day I haven't noticed any difference in the dangers from the fires we fight at work and the ones I use to fight as a volunteer!
