    eggs ??

    Always heard if the don't float they are still good. Is this true?

    Ive heard if they float they are not good. I aint eating no floatin eggs.

          All of my eggs are boyant, maybe not float on the top, but they don't sink either.... That is until I have hard boiled them.

              Got some standing on end when in water. I say they are fine but wife said the carton says they are expired and Wont use them

                That is a sell by date....not a eat by date if I am not mistaken.

                If they are vertical, I eat them touching the bottom... I'm not telling you to eat them, I'm just saying what I do.

                    I've always been perplexed with sinkers and floaters. Just take a sniff, you'll know. Shoot, you'll end up eating it anyway.

                      We had a guy on our lease that cooked some eggs that had a little water in them. They made me sick as a dog.

                          You can preserve eggs for a longer period using mineral oil.

                            I've had eggs 2-3 weeks after exp date. Water trick works for me and have never gotten sick off them. *knock on wood*
