Is he 4 or is he only 3?

What are your thoughts on the age of this deer?

I am thinking he is a 4yr. Big belly, big brisket, roman nose, and back has a slight sway to it. But...the summer coat is throwing me.....is he only 3?

Since its birthing time of year I would not say he is 1/2 a year. With that said I would say he is a just turned 4 year old deer. So when deer season rolls around He would be 4 1/2 IMO.

ehhh these offseason pics always throw me off. Everything I see says a 3 yr old, except the depth of his chest. Maybe 4. My final answer is... YES.
