    Dehydration and water consumption

    I don't drink enough water. I hate drinking water. It is tasteless and is boring. I drink iced tea but not water.

    I am convinced that my health issues are caused by lack of water consumption. It makes life tough when you are semi dehydrated everyday.

    What are the tricks to trick it up but still call it drinking water?

    I am thinking water and slices of lemon to give it some flavor.

    What do you do to make yourself drink water?

    I drink water and when am drinking it i say to myself "its great for the body drink more"..works for me i sometimes add the 5 calorie crystal light packs for flavor plus they have sweet tea also just for u partner!

      I like water, but to mix it up every now and then(usually at meal time) I have the little packets that you pour in a bottle. Its called squincher, electrolites and all that jazz, and sugar free.

        I have to use the Flavor packs or Mio 99% of the time. I have never liked water.... I know, I'm weird.

          I buy the Kool-Aid squeeze things. Just squeeze it in there and you have Kool-Aid. They are sugar free and no calories. I have to drink 8-10 bottles a day for medical reasons, and even more if I'm sweating. It's tough.

            Limes or lime juice for me or lemons in a pinch and I can't get enough of it.

              Super cold (almost frozen) water tastes best to me.

              My doc said drink half your weight in ounces per day (water that is).

                Just chug a bottle every hour
                or soak/puree fruit in it (watermelon water is fanTAStic)
                add crystal light

                  If you're thirsty, you'll drink water. Water is essential to life. Do yourself, and loved ones a favor, and drink water. Maybe if you drink enough, you'll start to like.

                  Water alone can't replace everything you lose through sweat though. We have Sqwinchers here at work. An electrolyte drink that helps you stay hydrated. We drink 2 per day as needed with water and that keeps you hydrated.

                  Dehydration ain't nothin' to mess with!!! Heat Stroke is a medical emergency! Don't let it get to that. Drink water, and lots of it!!!!

                    Depending on your activity level & outdoor exposure water may not be enough. You can have all the water in the world and still have an electrolyte imbalance.

                    I prefer coconut water with pineapple juice. More potassium than Gatorade, less sugar & tastes better in my opinion.

                      It really don't bother me to drink water, a little flavor every now and then is a great thing.

                      But don't forget, salt/electrolyte's are a important necessity for the body also brother..

                        Water is good but not enough. You still have to have electrolytes. I drink a ton of water daily. When I bike ride I will drink Gatorade and water. The packets to mix with water are great. There are several out there that will rehydrate you so it is giving some electrolytes.

                          Tea will actually dehydrate you.

                          I add Nunn tablets to my water in the summertime when I know I'm starting to dehydrate.

                              go to HEB and get the flavored carbonated water, its like a sody water but doesnt have sugar or anything bad in it. i drink it all the time since i dont drink sodas any more.
