Anyone shoot a Quest or Prime by G5?

Not much talk about the bows from G5.

I bought a quest torrent package three years ago as an entry level/decide whether I wanted to try bowhunting type deal, and needless to say, I'm still at it as someone that posts on message board dedicated to bowhunting in Texas. I haven't shot many other bows at all (I shoot LH) but I haven't felt the need to upgrade to something bigger and better at all. The only knock I have on mine is I have to turn the cock feather a little to the side or else the blazer's will catch the cable when shooting. That and it's a short axel bow, but that's not a design flaw as much as a preference deal. When I finally do feel like upgrading, I'll go with a little longer bow.

Found this gem on AT for my friend, $500 for a 2013 Prime Defy, it was basically flawless. CCR swapped cams for him and set it up. He has never shot a bow before and his form is bad, draw is terrible and he doesn't have a clue what he's doing. He's slapping arrows at 20 yards with it. I'm going to help him dial his HHA in this Friday.

I think they are great bows. I also think their draw length specific cams are what holds them back. I like their technology in the moving flex guard and dual cams eliminating or greatly reducing cam lean (although that's not that big of a deal). You so have to get the flex guard tuned right or you'll have fletching contact. The Defy has a great draw cycle and the best back wall out there, right there with Elite.

I shoot a rogue and absolutely love it. I haven't been shooting for a long time. Just got into the whole bowhunting thing bout a year ago and I have no complaints. Its a great shooting bow for the price.
