Agree. It is never good when the rules change once the money exchanges hands.

Bret is a great guy , I have never met him Personally but I see what he does for young hunters every year ! Every year he gives Several youth hunt away, I think last year the kids had to guess how many roofing nails were in a jar or something like that & these aren't small deer these kids are shooting !! My hats off to him !!

Its a great slideshow with amazing bucks, the Chittum ranch area has always been an incredible spot. The only reason I've said anything about the lease is because the slideshow is nothing more than an ad for the deer lease. I don't think its inappropriate to comment on the lease for that reason.

But my advice, if you want to hunt out there just buy one of the package hunts that Brett offers each year. Spend a few days out there, shoot a big buck, and be done with it.

That's a great ranch, that video didn't show any of the "real big" bucks on the ranch. Its one of the few places that you really want to hold out for a 190"+ buck.

They do go through a lot of lease members though, not to sure why

I've noticed that as well just from what I see on 2cool.

It seems that they run a real "my way or the highway" kinda place and I can only imagine that many people get sideways when they're told they must pass a 170 inch deer with drop tines....or something along those lines.

They pass more "deer of a lifetime" than most of us will ever lay eyes on.
