Cancun to Playa Shuttle

Anyone have recommendations on a shuttle from Cancun to Playa?

Following along Ill be down there end of this month.

Always had travel agent set it up from airport. About a 35-45 min ride.... Or about 3 beers

You can take a bus from the airport, ADO lines, for 90-100 pesos per person, it stop in the bus station of playa del carmen, right in la 5º avenida, or you can rent a car in the airport too, 40 dlls aprox for 24 hrs.

It's the best way to go and the safest too.

I wanted to rent a car, but the wife was not cool with that. However, if you speak a little Spanish and know they are gonna hit you with a fee at the counter, then you can. Bus is the cheapest option, but not fastest. Otherwise, I found the airport "recommended" was as good as any. We used them and were happy.

You did good! We used a private shuttle on our last trip for about twice what you paid but it was worth every penny. We walked out of the airport straight into a Lincoln navigator with a cooler full of cervezas. I almost felt bad walking past all the people waiting to get on the shuttle.......... almost

we are going to cancun 4-8th. We just booked transfers with happyshuttlecancun.com not sure if they go all the way to playa or not but it was $60 round trip for 2 private shuttle.

This thread made me thirsty, I was thinking the same thing! I cannot remember how I arranged it when we went, I think it was through our resort.

Did you get a confirmation email right away? I booked through them yesterday for our trip in October, but have not got the confirmation yet.

I thought we were all boycotting Mexico? I'm leaving Friday myself for Isla Mujeres, we usually just rent a car also if we go south to Playa or Tulum. Very safe with no problems, but a shuttle doesn't hurt either. Have a great trip!
