Few years back, Chew and I got one on video doing that. He caught the squirrel, and just sat on top of him clinching his neck with his talons until the squirrel went limp, then he flew off with him... pretty cool to witness. and I got everything except the hit by the hawk on video.

This pic is absolutely 1 in 10 billion! First of all it's from a wildgame camera, so obviously something else had to have walked by to wake up the camera to start the triggering process in time to actually take a picture of something in front of it. It just happened that the squirrel and hawk were there... Cool pic anyway!
