Where to buy an RV.........W. Tx

I live in Midland.
I am not opposed to heading to the Metroplex if needed but would rather stay out this directions just for service type issues.
Any suggestions?

I would think Midland would have some RV sales dealerships. Other than that San Angelo has a dealership or two.

You might consider Abilene, they seem to have several large lots on the interstate. Shop around they will deal. Also If you are going to tow it much, spend the money on an ultralite. Another advantage is if you keep it a long time the ultralite's will not frame rot on the front corners.

Midland/Odessa does a couple of dealerships but due to the booming oilfield economy out here the RV places are not cutting any deals.

New mostly unless it is a really nice/ very gently used for a great price.

I have two good friends that sell them, one is in Denton and the other is in Alvarado just south of Fort Worth, if you decide to venture on down this way holler and I will hook you up with them, they both work for Explorer USA, you can take a look online, good luck.

Try RV outlet mall in Georgetown TX. Lots of RV's to look at. Come down 29 to IH35 in Georgetown and take first exit.

I wouldn't buy one in this part of the world. You'll end up paying significantly more than the gas you'll burn hauling one back to Midland from further east.

Do some browsing online and find out. I bought mine used in the Houston area and feel like a great deal for the condition it's in. I'm sure I would have at least paid 30-50% more had I bought a similar RV here.
