Owning a Tree Service and using a 140HP Chipper that will eat 17" Logs in no time, I make sure no one puts any part of their body remotely close to the feed wheels. I've seen several pictures of the aftermath of these type accidents at safety conferences and its definitely not pretty.

Had a dope dealer wanna be in my hometown that ran drugs for a real dope dealer out of Dallas. The dope dealer for what ever reason killed off his wife (the dope dealers) and her 8 year old son. Dumped the sons body at a lake in the area and sent her body home with this wanna be. He kept her in a 55 gallon drum in his apartment till she started smelling so he and a buddy rented a chipper and hauled it all out to the back side of his grand dads ranch. All went well until a hip bone jammed it up. They finally got it out but decided they had done enough. Took the chipper back without cleaning it up, yep he was that smart. I think he is still in prison for that little deed. At least the gal was already a couple weeks dead.

1st homicide I worked was a drug debt gone bad, and it did not end well for the guy who watched his girlfriend get raped then shot, then he got put through a wood chipper. Bad, bad scene. Not a way to go
