Buck #7 for the season. Drove all the way to East TX for this track. I normally wouldn't do that but for a 200" deer we'll go darn near anywhere! The hunter is friend too...I was proud to help him out.

                Sweet!

But with that shot, it couldn't have been a very long track...

I was able to get my dog Axel on his first track tonight. He did great. Hard 1/4 away shot into shoulder so no exit. No blood for 75 yards so we followed the trail hunter thought he took. I saw one spot of blood and put Axel on it and he took off from there. Very sparse blood every 15-20 yards for about 50 yards then it opened up and was buckets after that. Total was about 100 yards after initial blood I guess. Hunter and his son were super excited. Nice mature buck.

Rod really needs to get you and Rowdy a helicopter.

We tracked a leg shot deer last week and I videoed the action but I'm not sure I should post it! It was a heck of a fight!

No Rod it wasn't. She did find a 14 hour gut shot doe that morning though.
