    Request for the Classifieds

This isn't an ad so I didn't want to post it in the Classifieds. Mods, if it needs to be moved, please do so.

I know I'm new here, but I'd like to see what everyone thinks about adding locations to the titles in new classified ads. Can't tell you how many times I've clicked on an item just to see it was way across the state. TBH Express is great and all, but isn't worth the trouble some of the time.

So, is anyone else interested in this? You'd just post [North Houston] in front of your ad in the title.

Or you could update your profile and it would let everyone know your location.

I think you have missed the point. That information is only available AFTER someone clicks on your ad.

EDIT: And I'm in San Antonio

Actually if you look under the posters name there is usually a location of where they are. I know that not everyone fills out their profile but if they all would it would help out.

As you can see by mine, I'm from Weatherford. A simple maps search will show that I'm 30 miles west of Ft. Worth.

I'm in the North Pole. Everyone is far away.

There is no fee to click a thread and then click the back button. That would be a lot easier than adding locations. Texas is quite a big place. There are many times that I see the location and still don't have a clue where it is in this awesomely huge state.

Plus it show if the views are adding up. That way you know if the title of your add is catchy enough to make a sale.

I like to see what the TBH community has to say, sell, or share. If its not something for me I look for something that's more my style. Thanks for joining, and welcome.

No particular interest in that idea. It takes a few seconds to open the thread. If its too far and an express isn't feasable I'll just move on and think nothing more of it.

I don't think you will get far with this.... Especially seeing as how a lot of items can/will be tbh expressed if need be. It might would take away some of the fun of looking through the classifieds if you were only worried about where it was located, rather than so much as to what was being sold. jmo

I don't really care where something is located. If I am really interested I will find a way to get to it or get it to me

Are we really concerned about the 3 seconds it takes to click on a thread and hit the back button?

Although it would be nice it's not a deal beaker for me.
