I have a friend of mine that is needing some tile work. Anyone have a name of someone they have used? The home is in the Angleton area. Also, what is the going rate for an are that is 16 squared?

I would guess the going rate to be about $4/sq. ft., based on the estimates we just received here in San Antonio. It will definitely depend on your job though. Don't know anybody in your area.

Wish you were closer. Family been in the biz for 95 years. Depending on the job normal rate is around $3.00-$4.00 sq ft.
