Best Gas Range and Oven

Whats a real good GAS range and oven for in the main kitchen out there? Im not talking the $4,000 dollar ones but... just a real good one that does not have cheesy knobs. I looked at a few for 800 to 1,000 bucks and the knobs the way they turned were below flimsy..... thanks!

We have Kenmore Elite and love it. Oven is convection. Can't remember the cost but I think it was about $1,400. But that was 5 years ago.

Best and $1k don't go together with any appliances anymore. Not sure if they have a gas or not but I really like the GE profile or cafe series.. Not tops like Viking and those commercial types but still well above average.

We had the GE Profile series gas stove and range in our last house and love it, good constant temp.

My mom had a Jenn air and it is far from cheesy.

Find a contractor and sometimes folks go from 30 or 36 to a 48. Can often be found for 1500

Bought a basic DCS stove years ago, wish I'd spent the extra for a Viking or Wolf.
