Bad Boy Buggy & Triple C Welding

Got my BBB back from Triple C and they did a great job! Had them weld a roof, basket for yeti45, full length skid plate, and front rack. Also, had them add 3in lift to support the weight, extra watering system for rear batteries, front and rear LED light bars, and cover the seats with Justin leather and add OS leather handles. They did some work to my trailer as well with a front storage box and tie down hooks. John Campbell did great work and very pleased with the results.

Took it to the lease on Saturday and the place was muddy. Pulled the trailer with 1500lbs of feed and a couple of feeders and the BBB never missed a step. I tried it in battery mode (2whl drive) and it did fine - although it goes through battery power fairly quickly when pulling that much weight.

The only negative point - BBB has a 2in hitch mounted to the rear floor board and not to the frame. I bent the floor board/hitch with all the weight on the trailer. This was not good as we had to transfer 15 bags to the front, roof, rear of the BBB and drive to the feeder x2 trips. It held all that weight fine (plus me and my brother and loaded yeti. I should have asked John to weld the hitch up to the frame - but didn't think of that at the time he was working.

Sorry for the long post but I haven't seen a lot of posts on Triple C welding or Bad Boy and thought this post would speak well to both.

Nice looking rig. Do you know what the average range is on those rigs using electric only?

Thanks. I don't know the mileage but I drove it all day in battery mode around the lease (5 sq/miles) when I first bought it. It had ~ 3/4 charge and by the end of the day the batteries were really low. Gas mode will charge the batteries up - but takes a lot of driving to do it and won't go over 3/4 full. We have electricity on the place so when I get back I throw it back on the charger.

There are batteries under the hood and the front seat. The batteries under the hood come with a water filling system but the batteries under the seat do not. I added a filling system to the rear and makes life alot easier.

Thanks - really put it to the test on Saturday. I wish they would come with all the extras for the MSRP but they don't. They come with a cheap plastic roof but no way could you through any feed on top. Really like the roof now and was needed after my trailer hitch screwup.

Man, I know! I was so excited after talking to Nowicki that I went out to the garage at waxed my bow!!

I messed up the floor board pretty bad but nothing that can't be fixed by John.
