How many Travel Ball Softball parents do we have on here?

Just curious how many TBH members have daughters playing fastpitch travelball. What age and where is their team based out of? We are in our second year of Travel ball and it has pushed fishing and hunting way over to the side. My 10 year old plays TB and her 7 year old sister is probably a couple of years away from playing TB but she should have a great understanding of the game by that point.

My grand-daughter started this year, she is 9. They live in Terrell and I think they play out of Forney. They have mostly played around the metromess but were in CS this weekend. Some days are 12-hours long and they play half a dozen games. Seems a little over the top for 9-year olds. I guess it works for some. Enjoy the time with your kids, you only get to spend those years one-time.

Daughter played for years, and I coached... went all over the place... Favorite venues were Aurora, Co. (Denver), Lakeland, Fla. Chattanooga, Tenn. Hunting/fishing took a total back seat for several years. Drafted teams late August, played first warm up tournament Labor day usually. If we made nationals, they were always first week in August... took off 2 weeks, then started all over again with tryouts... Was fun, but have to admit, it took us too far away from church and doing the Lord's work. Would have been much wiser if we'd reached a happy medium somewhere instead of such a serious commitment...

My daughter plays fastpitch. We mostly stay around DFW.
Very time consuming, but she enjoys it.
13 years old in 28 days.

My daughter is the catcher for the 10u lady knights out of Fairfield. Most her tournaments are from around dfw area down to Austin.

She has played 18u gold last 2 years for team out of Austin but they couldn't pull any coaches so we moved to 16u Power Habernal this season. She was asked to move up to Jeff's team a few weeks back but decided to stay since she hadn't played 16u before. Were you at the scrimmage where the thunderstorm hit right before the two teams played?

My oldest is the catcher for Wharton Bomb Squad's 8u team and the youngest just had her first practice yesterday with the other 8u team. We have some great coaches and just all around great girls.
