How Much Paint

How many cans of spray paint does it take to paint a 55 gal barrel?

I've found it usually either takes one more than I have, or 3 less than I buy.

... but surely no more than 4. If they are in good shape, like you just painting over existing paint, 2 should do it.

Depends on whether you are just painting the outside of it, or the inside too.

takes 2 black to cover it completely, one green, one brown to camo it up. Painted 14 feeders, always came out the same!

3 cans of paint, 2 cases of beer, 3 buddies to watch and "help" after said beer is ingested. ....(better have a little extra paint to cover up the "help" the next day)

Ive always wondered why we use black in our camo painting. it doesn't occur naturally in the vegetation.
