We start voting, at the local and national level, we do our homework and we vote. As we vote, we educate those around us, who really are not tied to the political scene, we must do our part to have them do their part.

Here's an example. San Antonio is roughly 1.4 million people strong. When incumbent Mayor Julian Castro won his recent election, only 35,000 - 40,000 people voted. This simply means, people are not turning out to vote, it's plain and simple.

Voting is the foundation for change. Barrack Hussein Obama was a previous COMMUNITY ORGANIZER. His COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT was simple, educate the liberal masses to vote, using flaming rhetoric and division, us versus them, to fan the flames and bring support to his agenda.

The GOP needs to get aggressive and as mentioned, our play sheet needs to match the same aggressiveness as the liberals, without lying and or cheating - letting THE FACTS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES.

We are at a serious disadvantage though....the American News Media is in Bed with the Liberals right now. Over time, as their ways further bury the US, the mistakes and blunders that led us down these multiple paths of failure, will be the fuel to corrective action.

    2016 is a pivotal point.

My concern is that votes are evenly "weighted". If there are more and more Takers out-voting the Makers then the Takers are going to keep voting themselves stuff... Politicians have figured this out BTW.

It starts with a first step. Turn off the tv, stop the Candy Crush and get involved, somehow, but get involved. And while you are getting involved, take a kid with you to start the educational process for another generation.

            bingo

The real enemy is idiocracy. Kids want to go to college more for the experience than the education. People want instant gratification and constant stimulation with minimal effort.

If we, as a nation, can get this right then politics will take care of itself. Satan has divided us. Forget about political parties coming together. How can we come together as neighbors? Our nation won't regain what we've lost unless we figure this out. It's a God-sized problem.

The United States and even Texas as I knew it in my youth is gone, the future only holds more ill for those who survive.

Someone asked if this country could survive another 10 years of this and my answer is yes the United States will still be here in 10 or 20 or 50 or even a 100 years, it isn't the U.S. that's going to disappear it is US that won't survive.

I feel sorry for my children, their children and most of you who are still young; because the change you're gonna see is something that I would wish on no one.

For now all we can do is quietly prepare for the inevitable, voting, protesting, calling, writing, shouting, will not stop or even slow this juggernaut. Keep your powder dry, your knives sharp and your loved ones close...

I must agree with sir shovelhands and shane. The political correctness has opened the door for the devil to enter. We as a nation are to worried about everyone s feelings. The politicians don't want to offend anyone and loose a vote.We ourselves have become dependent on the government money whether we realize it or not. Until someone rises up to be the leader we can follow we will continue on this path.Whenever some one does step up we need to vigilant of them. Remember Hitler was supposed to bring Germany back to greatness. In the mean time I would suggest Pray hard and tell the truth no matter whose feelings got hurt.I have always been told you cant please everyone but I think our leaders forget that. They are so busy trying to please them all that now no one is happy. With all that said it is still the best country in the world.

Facebook memes and forwarding emails aren't cutting it.

                      Griping on TBH does nothing.

Marching around with signs....it might get you noticed and maybe a 15 second news blurb if the media will cover it.

But are their any ways to really get the attention of those who are screwing our country up or those that have the power to unscrew it?

I know there are those on here who have some ideas about how to do it. Not sure I'm there yet but don't think I don't think about it regularly.

As the takers increase and the tax payers decrease, the voting remedy becomes less powerful.

                      Any ideas?

(And for the handful of liberals on here, "Yes, I know." But thank you for your insight.)

I am afraid that things will have to get much worse and some more,a bunch,of our own great innocent citizens,GOD forbid children, will have to die before the bleeding hearts and rubber backbones in this country ever stiffen up.
I'm afraid that by the time that happens we will be to far over the cliff to make a come back. I pray I'm wrong.
#1. We have to stop the in-flow of radicals into this country. Seal off the borders.

I guess what really blows my mind is that we,as nation, know this yet we set around let guppies in a fish bowel staring at computer and TV screens like the guppies looking through the glass and we do nothing. We all just want to pretend that it will all somehow just go away and things will get better.
                      Well it won't!!!!!

                        Might look into this...

We are a grassroots movement fighting to fix our broken political system. Building teams at the local level, we hold status quo politicians accountable at the ballot box. Help us elect candidates committed to fundamental reform!

It's a crowd funded Super Pac.

They are equally "weighted.". Trouble is, in every state there are multiple major cities populated by the mostly ignorant masses(useful idiots), drones and gibmedats.

These are often referred to as "spigot cities", and their voting tends to wash out those of the surrounding counties, towns and small precincts in their respective states. The liberals know to focus their division, pandering and handouts to those areas, they have no use for those of us in the burbs or "fly over country" except our taxable incomes.

The left has been at this for nearly a century, reaching a peak in the 60's and early 70's with the counter cultural revolution, feminism, eviro-whackos and flat out cultural Marxism( spare me tin foil hat labelers).

They told us exactly what they were going to do and how they were going to do it... and they achieved their perfect storm, mission accomplished, nirvana with the creation and ascension of Barrack Obama and his merry band of Marxists, statists, whatever the term.

Think of it... 100 years putting all these pieces in place(and there are many) to attain the level of near absolute power they now wield.

Do any of you really believe they are going to simply hand all that over because of some "election?"

                            Couldn't agree more Mike.

Sometimes it pains me to think that THIS country may not be worth saving... I specify THIS, because it sure ain't the same country even I grew up in. And yes, I know things change... but none of what has been taking place in the form of "change"(at an accelerated pace) for the last 20 years has been good.

I think bits and pieces from then and now generations. No one time has been perfect in American society. We should take parts from history and create the ideal America. What we're creating now is a disaster waiting to happen.

Problem is, this isn't a movement that 10's or even 100's of thousands of people can create. This is going to take millions upon millions to do something for us to see any kind of change.

It's discouraging when you can see what needs changing, want to change it but know that without the help of the majority or close to it, nothing is ever going to change for the better. That's where the griping without doing anything comes from. Most people know it'd be a waste of breath so to speak.

All we can do is vote, like many said, and raise our children in a way that hopefully someday the evolution of today's society changes for the better. But that's going to take years upon years and it may be too late for that to be a successful route.

My only recommendation is to pray. GOD is the only one who can solve this problem and right now he doesn't have enough people leading his fight as he should.
