Update for you guys and gals.

It’s been an amazing couple of days. Momma and baby are great. Reid Douglas Murray was born at 10:11am on 9/22/20 at 20.75” 8lbs 3oz

This has been such a strange pregnancy for me as the father. With COVID, I haven’t been allowed to attend any of the doctor visits along the way. It’s made it hard for me to truly grasp that we were having another child. Obviously, I see the pregnant lady in the room, but you know what I mean. When we got to the hospital and got hooked up to monitors, it hit me, this is the first time I’ve heard the heart beat.

I didn’t know what to expect emotionally. My mindset was I’ve done this before, I’m more relaxed this week time, no worries at all, just happiness right? I lost it when this boy came out and got laid on Brittany’s s chest. I’m positive the thing that floored me was omg he looks JUST. LIKE. ALEX. Feelings from the last 7 years just came over me. I can’t believe how much I love him and how much our lives were missing him. We are just so happy. Also, we are home now which is even better!
