I have Bfg TAko on my wifes tundra (285-55-20) and cooper ATP in 285-75-16 on my tundra. Both great tires and will go over 60k miles. Huge price difference though, My coops were Like $800 while hers are about 1500.
South Texas ranch has killed...literally.. every Nitto tire ever driven on it - to the point we wager how soon the owner will be getting his spare out.
BFG and Goodyear wranglers survive.
Nitto is a nice-to-look-at 'aggressive' street tire... i wouldnt venture anywhere you actually need an aggressive, tough tire with them.
BFG all terrain age horrible about blowouts. I've seen 5x more blowouts out of those tires with tread and no rot on them, than any other tire.
i went ahead ahead and got some Starfire A/Ts. really like the tread pattern and can't beat the price for LT tire. we'll see how they do. Knowing they were a Cooper subsid. helped the decision.
Hope they work for you I was gonna say the terra grapplers just pulled a set off a 3/4 4x4 cummins I had over 83k on them still were doing great but had some extra cash and put a brand new set on was getting ready for the hot summer roads
