Name that breed.

I know there are a lot of Catahoula fans here. This is a rescue dog and I know she's not pure Cat but we think shes a Cat mix. What do you think.

1) she's just had a haircut so this is a deceptive picture to start with.
2) obviously her eyes are brown
3) she's leaner and taller than a typical Cat and weighs about 55 lbs.
4) instinctual hunter. (Taken down several opossums.)
Any guesses?

What makes you think she is not a pure Cat? They come in a wide array of colors and sizes. She looks like she could be pure cat to me.

Yup we got our money's worth out of the groomer.
She may have some Australian Shepherd in her but lots of differences compared to the standard too.

When I was in college I had a old 1/2 black lab 1/2 German Shepard get to one of my really good catahoula females....every single pup looked just like that dog.
