Killed my first deer with a rifle when I was 4 almost 5. Was bowhunting shooting at every rabbit or bird I could find around 7 0r 8. Killed my first deer with a bow at 13.

In college in 1985 bought a cheap compound bow .........20 years old and the BEAST fell in Liberty County, TExas during my first bowhunt ever..........Raywood to be exact!!! A day that will live in infamy!!!!

Started when I was 8. Killed my first deer on opening morning. Was shooting a old Bear Black Bear, fingers, kisser button, two pin sight, and 2016 aluminum arrows with cheap Allen Broadheads. The doe went maybe 60 yds. Next morning a stuck a squirrel. I will never forget that weekend.

One of my first weekends bowhunting that year, I shot a 13pt on Friday that I never found. Saturday I shot a doe. Sunday I shot an 8pt and skipped school on Monday to find it

I started in 2010. We got off our trophy lease down near Laredo, and the deer on our places around home just weren't anything special. So I picked up bowhunting to add some excitement back into my hunt. Now I can draw back on a rabbit and feel a rush

I was 21 in 1992 when i started shooting a whitetail hunter 2 i bought from walmart back when it was decent to get things from. Spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to shoot and too pig headed to ask for help so it took a bit.

in 2000 i started hunting with my then FIL who is close friends with SaltwaterSlick and thats where i killed my first bow deer, a 2.5 yo cull. it wasnt pretty but i did it!

I started shooting birds and rabbits at 7-8 years old, and took up deer hunting with a bow at 14, back in '84. Missed several that year with my Bear Whitetail and killed my first deer the next year on opening day. I shot her at 7 yards with a Bear Flare, shooting Easton Gamegetters and Bear SS broad heads.

Bummed me out and i didn't bow hunt again until like 2011 in college. Have been addicted ever since. Still no confirmed deer down with a bow for me! But thats why its called "hunting"
