    Flat head cat

    My dad was trying to tell me to try and eat it he said that these are good eating even he have not tried it lol so I let the flat head go back in the water here pic

      I tried to talk him into eating it but he say they were not good to eat. He let it go.

        Probably the second best eating fish to come out of fresh water. Oh well, maybe next time. Love me some yellow cat belly meat.

            Besides crappie fillets those are the best. And if they come from the Sulpher River in NE texas theres nothing that can beat it. Great catch.

                            yep! My family will put a serious hurtin' on some fried flathead! We used to pull them out of the Mississippi using blue gill as bait.

                              Letting him go was a good move but putting him in corn meal and hot peanut oil would have been a whole lot better.
