Samsung Galaxy S5.. who has one?

I'm due for an upgrade and am thinking of switching from the iPhone to the S5. If you have one do you like it? I hate trying new stuff and being stuck with it if I don't like it. I've had the iPhone for years but I really don't like how "locked down" everything is with apple. Seems like I can't do anything without iTunes. Other than that I don't have any complaints with the iphone.

I have one and love it. I just got the S5 about 2 months ago, and of course, as usual, it is smarter than I am LOL

I too had an iPhone years ago, and hated that "locked down" feeling, so I switched to an Android and have owned several different models in the past 4-years. No problems since, and I will probably never change, unless somebody pays me to do so.

Only thing that bugs me is that Verizon told me when I upgrade I will lose my unlimited data package. I've had that same plan for many years. So much for rewarding customer loyalty I guess.

After having an iPhone for years I just got the s5 active. It's gonna take some getting used to but so far it's really nice. A lot nicer than the iPhone imo.

I have the S5... Love it. Took a couple days to get set up the way I wanted and get used to it but I probably won't ever go back to an iPhone... I like the new found freedom.

I had a Iphone 4S and just traded in on the HTC one M8. I bought mine at Best Buy and the way it worked out for me I traded in my Iphone and got a 50 dollar gift card so the HTC was free. It was a hard choice between that and the S5. Only reason I went with the HTC is because of the better build quality. Other than that they are about the same phone. The samsung does have a better camera but so far on the HTC my camera is able to do so much more than I will ever do with it. Also if you get the S5 thru Best buy instead of verizon you have 15 days to decide if you want to keep it or not as long as you dont mess it up you can switch it for a different phone if its not what you want. Im not sure if Verizon does this or not.

Also if you can wait a few months the new Galaxy F is supposed to be a all aluminum body.

Somebody, somewhere, appears to have somehow gotten his hands on the yet-unreleased Samsung Galaxy F (previously referred to as Galaxy S5 Prime), and, so far, he's had a fun time teasing us. Today is no different, for we have yet another high resolution snap of the premium-looking Samsung Galaxy F, but this time there's a twist: it's snapped side-by-side with Samsung's current flagship, the Galaxy S5...

Ive got a Iphone for my personal phone and a Galazy S4 for my work phone. As you, I have always had Iphones and to me it seems everytime a new Iphone is released the one I have goes to crap........ With the new work phone I have had the ability to compare them side by side and so far really enjoy the android devices.

the only con for me has been getting used to the size of the phone, compared to the 4s iphone it seems huge, but it makes looking at the GS alot easier.

Someone told me I could add a line with the new phone and then transfer it to my old number and keep my data. Than I would have to pay an extra $10 per month for the extra line I added and I don't really want to do that. Is that what you're talking about?

The only thing is, some companies have separate plans for iPhone and androids so supposedly you have to have the correct one for your phone or it won't work properly... if you make any switch in phone brand, they usually don't let you keep it...

Now we could upgrade I phones over and over and keep the unlimited but not switch to the android plan
