Tim can fix you up right! He is the go to man for hog hunting!
He can answer anything about hunting a night, the right bait, trapping and even a little about FEET!
I go pig hunting at night almost every week. First off you will need some sort of light so you can see the pigs. I use a Texasboars feeder light and I believe they are the best lights for pig hunting. I also use a red led light mounted to my bow for when I can't use my feeder light. You will also need some sort of lighted sight pin but not to bright or you will not be able to see. You will also need at least a 1/4 in peep or no peep at all. Practicing at night with the exact same light setup you are going to use is also very important. I can almost guarantee that if you don't practice at night you will make a bad shot when it comes time to shoot the pig. It takes a little bit of work to get a good set up to kill pigs at night but once you do it sure is a lot of fun. I also feel a game camera is very important because it will let you know when the pigs are coming in. I hope this helps. If you have any more questions just ask and I will do my best to answer. I'm know Tim,Howie and a bunch of other people on here can help you out too. Good luck and have fun.
trail cam...set it out and see what time to sit they'll make a routen and go about a half hour before the pics were taken and follow the advise the fellow tbh had to give you....happy huntin!!!!!!
A feeder would help but if no feeder then wait for some rain and pre bait an area. Sour some corn but putting it in a bucket. Pour water in there and let the corn soak it all up. Add more water a day later. In a few days it will be ripe. You can add yeast or cheap beer to, if you want to speed up the fermintation process.
Dig holes deep but small in diameter and bury the sour corn. If you know pigs are close by or are already using the area you can just pour it out but dont pour it in a pile or the pigs will crowd around it and it'll be hard to pick one out. Pour it in lines.
The most important thing to remember is to always hunt downwind of where the pig will come from and your bait. Also wear rubber boots.
Get a hoglight and practice shooting at black targets in the dark before you do anything or you'll just educate the pigs.

The site light is a must... I also get a couple of the LED flashlights and tape them to the feeder legs pointing down and turn them on when it is still daylight. This way you don't get the whole shock thing that happens when you put a light on one of them. These things will run for an easy 40+ hours and they put off great light. If you can pattern them with the trail cam and then have at it.
I will help you out all I can thanks guys for referring me.
I like to find main trails and Feed and bait right off of them. I also like to use cover scents such as coon and Sow in heat. I also like to use Black Gold for rub spots.I se rope on tress and then pour the black gold onto the rope. I also will take the bark off the trees with a hatchet. then I will use Grim reaper wildlife attractant and then set my game cameras and get the time the hogs are coming in. I use texasboars feeder lights. And I also use a Hawglite on my bow

what do you know, here is a subject i actually know something about from experience. jsut like the guys stated above with the lights and sight we had our best luck this spring on a full moon and the nights after it. the hogs would feed like clockwork, we added a little wrinkle by adding a cat's play ball inside the rolling feeder so we could hear when the hogs were pushing the roller around to get corn to fall out
Feed the roads and hunt in the moonlight. Works everytime,no artificial light to spook anything. Spot and stalk, move slow and into the wind. I'm going this weekend and will do just that. My buddy has LDP's from all night time hunts. I will try to get them posted after the weekend.
