I'm in the business of renting homes, I prolly open 30 - 45 accounts a year with this piece of crap company. My accounts are paid on time, always. In 28 years I've never had to post a deposit to have service turned on, ever.
Today I call Atmos to request service and I'm told they will not turn on service until a 7 month old bill is paid. They tell me the address of the bill, yes that's my property, they tell me the service dates, yes that matches when I would have had it in my name. But when I ask what address the bills were sent to, they were sent to some other address other than mine. I never received the bills.
They say they don't know why the bills were sent elsewhere but they have to be paid before they open new account.
Now this is a account supervisor I'm talking with, I tell her to send me the bill to MY address and ill pay it, she says it has to be paid before new account is open.
I ask about my 28 years of excellent credit with them on 100s of accounts, and since THEY sent the bill to some other address why would they just cut me off as if I was a thief. She just said it must be paid 1st.
It must be nice to not need CUSTOMER SERVICE when your the only provider in town.
Tomorrow I have to go to there office to resolve this, you can bet your a## ill give them he77 while I'm there.
