Update. All went well with my procedure today. Only pain was the needle. Icing and watching movies.

Had it done 15 years ago after we had our 2nd child. Nothing to it. Laid in bed for a day or two with ice packs and cold beer and watched ball games on TV. Definitely worth it.

Make that 19 years for me.

Look at it this way. Should something happen to either of you, in 30 years she can fall in love with a younger guy but can't have another child. You could fall in love with a younger girl and be a Daddy again. Many woman (not saying your wife, of course) like the vasectomy option since they know the odds of their man straying in 30 years for a younger woman is less because he can't start a new family with her. Woman's brains are wired differently and work like that.

How old is she? Could do an essure tubal and novasure ablation. We does those together all the time. That would fix both problems. There are other ways of doing the ablation but this is my personal choice.

I have to say that I never thought I would find information about my girlie parts on a testosterone filled hunting forum. I'm dying laughing while looking up the number for a OB/GYN under my plan.
