Listen, I'm all for the Tea party's ideas… but you have to be able to work within the system to make lasting change…
Riling up a base with rhetoric that has no chance of happening is ridiculous… it's pandering to the mob…
The far left is good at it… the tea party is good at it.
Don't fire people over a failure to reach unattainable goals… you will spend all your time worrying about firing people… not reaching attainable ones.

I don't recall the left crossing the aisle to work with the Republicans on much. It's their way or the highway and Boehner and crew have gone along.
What is the point in having a two party system if the Republicans do not stand in opposition to the Democrats?

Virginia's 7th District is solidly conservative. All the counties in that district voted for Romney over Obama in 2012. I doubt very seriously an unknown liberal trial lawyer Democrat is going to win in November.
