Concan area deer?

Looking at a place close to Concan, anybody got any experience hunting around there or pics of deer or exotics from the area?

One of my first hunting experiences was in Concan but that was 30 years ago. All can say is the numbers of deer was enormous.

Not big deer at all but lots of them. A Lot of Aoudad and some Axis as well. Good numbers of turkey. PM BallGame on here.

A lot of Auodad and Axis in that country. Whitetail are numerous but small. 120 is a good buck there.

How far from Concan? I hunted about 10 miles from Concan off of 127 on the Annadale. We had 10 guns with the best buck being in the mid 40's last year. The closer you get to Concan the more hill country sized deer there are. We had axis, blackbuck, and barasingna on the place

Grandmas place in Reagan wells has lots of axis and every once in a while fallow And blackbuck. Whitetail numbers are good mostly hill country deer. Id love to have a lease out there for myself

If the river goes thru the place you will have some Axis and quite possibly some very nice axis! If you need to fill an extra spot let me know, depending on price I might be interested just for a place in the off season to chase exotics.

lots of exotics in area. WT are fairly small: avg doe dresses 60 lbs, avg buck dresses 100 lbs

We killed a 145in buck out of Leaky right down the road. Awesome hunting in that area!

And I would say those deer are above average for the area.
