Big winds and Travel Trailer Question

Spent the weekend at the lease. The storms Saturday night were pretty rough on my little trailer. In fact kinda scared the crap out of me. I was thinking about anchoring my trailer. Don't want to blow away. Its a little 16ft trailer. Was thinking 4 anchors attached to the frame on 4 corners should do it. Anyone done this before?

It kinda scared the crap out of me, Im sorry i just laughed out loud when I read this. Ive been in that situation before and it isnt funny at the time. I took the wheels off of mine and leveled it on blocks it cuts down on the shaking allot.

Wish I had a pill at that time.

In a lot of campgrounds if you stay over 30 days its required by law, not a bad idea at all. I've got my lease camper chained to a tree, does that count.....

              I slept straight through it.
I set my trailer up in a n/s direction being that is the direction of the wind at most times.
I use one support under the 5th wheel, the electric jacks in the front, and the two jacks in the very rear. I have 4x4's stacked up under the jacks for less flex on the jacks.

If u need to, skirt the trailer. And tie it down with some big cable and anchors like a trailer house.
