She Shot it and LIKES IT!

My lady got "over her intense fear" of firearms this past weekend.
For the FIRST TIME EVER, she shot my son's S&W Airweight 38.

Now, it belongs to her and after we saw her BIG SMILE, I think we recruited another supporter. There will be many range times coming and I told her by the time we are done, she will be able to "combat" shoot, clean, load, reload..all the things a responsible owner should do!

Next step...her choice, CHL

I guess she finally decided, after many LEO stories, that I may not always be around to protect her so she HAS to take responsibility to protect herself, etc.

Don't know how many times I have told her that so many times LEO'S get there too late and it's just writing up a report...IMO. I'm just a BIG believer in doing what I can to protect myself, family, property or to be honest, those who can't protect themselves...so I guess it finally inspired her to take a few initial shots and get at least somewhat over her fears.

Don't get me wrong, it's still going to be a long process to get her more comfortable but as long as she's around me...it's a big part of my life.

JUST got back from the range to take her shooting again!
As we are taking it slow, she shot 50 rounds, combat shooting and had NO misses at the first two distances...typical feet/yardage.

She even had a BULL'S EYE 3 times shooting at Torso Targets, lol!

It's so fun for me to see my lady, who was so afraid of firearms, learning and realizing what so MANY, not on TBH TRASH firearms.

Look out Annie Oakley, you have been REBORN!
