    Moving back home...

As some of you know, I just got a job back in my hometown, which I start on June 23rd. I move back home this Thursday. I can't thank God enough for giving me the chance to move back home and start a new career. That being said, the move is bittersweet.

I started rounding stuff up today and started a checklist, which has made my move seem more real. While I am excited to be with the family, I am leaving a part of Texas that I've grown to love. The DFW area is home to some awesome eateries and, of course, CCR. I've had a lot of fun hanging out up here with my old college friends. But, the hardest part is that I'll now be 5 hours away from my fiancé for the next five months, which is going to be quite a change. We've done long distance for a couple years of our 6.5 year relationship, but never 5 hours... But, I know we will be fine and that come November we will be married.
North Texas has been awesome (especially this winter weather), and I'll be back to visit as often as possible.

All that aside, I am pumped about getting back home where I can shoot my bow in my back yard, and I'll be starting my very own bow build on Friday!

El campo right? I'm over there about every weekend during duck season. We'll have to grab some Las Cucos or Greeks sometime.

Man that's awesome news, sounds like you'll be hitting up R&M firearms now. If you didn't know, a TBH'r works in the bow shop.

NOW-have you seriously thought through this whole November thing.....

Greeks, now that takes me back to high school and my bachelor party. Still great food.

As the ole saying goes, "you can never go back home!" I am hopeful this is the fit you have been wanting as I was in the same position back in 1995 and decided it was not where or what I truly represented after being away for 12 years (college, first job, graduate school, traveling nationally & internationally), I had truly outgrown what was the greatest childhood anyone on the fruited plain could have ever had! Just a something to think about. congrats on the nuptials and I hope it is the perfect fit for yall. Congrats!

I will be a regular at r&m just like my high school days! First thing I'm gonna do Friday is head over there and get some arrows and BHs for my trad setup

The November thing has played out well. Already started a fund to go axis hunting for our first anniversary!
