    power company...who do you use?

My old user must have gone bankrupt so I now have a new provider. So I thought now I'd a good time to look around. My new company charges .10950/kwh.

What are you paying and are you happy with them?

BTW I was using mission power. New company is American Light & power

Just renewed with Southwest Power and Light for 9.9 cents/KWH for 24 months. We have been with them a year already and no complaints. They even called to remind us our contract was expiring.

It really is just the company that sends you the bill.

The electric still comes from the same company.

Right now I am with Amigo.

9.1 sounds like the lowest so far. What do you Amigo customers pay?

Stan, I use reliant for all my construction sites but curious what people pay for the personal. I know it's just who the bill comes from, but that company also determines your rate. Centerpoint or whatever transmission company does not

I don't have a choice and use Pedernes Electric. Don't know what they charge off the top of my head since it doesn't matter.

If there isn't a contract they can really jack you on the rates.

I'm running without a contract right now and it's actually cheaper than I could find with contract. I decided to wait a while when my contract expired and see if I could find a cheaper rate before I renewed. I ended up forgetting about it and my next bill came in and I thought "uh oh". But I looked and the kwh charges were cheaper than I could get with a contract so I have not renewed yet. As long as it's cheaper than locking a rate in I'm going without contract. Last month's bill was @ 8.5 cents/kwh.

TXU was $.106/hr plus a $30/month delivery charge. I just switched, signed a 3 yr contract with Champion Energy for $.075/hr plus $5.25/mo delivery charge.

                              I have Yep energy.

Price is just under 10¢ per kwh.

They are a ballbuster about getting paid. I have an auto pay set, but they did shut off our power while we were out of town once, for a remaining balance of less than $20, that really ****** me off.
