He no longer hunts. Something about bear hunting and thinking they reminded him of humans.

But he is pro-gun rights and isn't against hunting itself.

I haven't watched it yet but if it's along the lines of the rest of these type shows that there is a bear, lion, wolf, alligator or hog behind every bush that is just waiting to kill you I will probably pass. Sure all these animals can be dangerous but they take it to another level.
