What kind of clouds are these?

I went through one that looked just like that in Santa Anna this morning. Lots of rain

Similar clouds over Texarkana a couple hours ago....tornado warning and sirens blasting.Pour rain now.

He would have broken into programming for at least 2 hours for that cloud.

Shelf cloud in the foreground, the background clouds are down drafts. Expect high winds as that shelf cloud drives forward. We have had 2 in Lubbock in the past 2 weeks, first one clocked 70+ mph, second one yesterday clocked 96mph!!!!

The weather yesterday got crappy real fast there. We were there for a youth baseball tournament. And they cancelled the games today because the fields were so trashed. On the way home just on the other side of wolforth there were 11 power poles snapped in half.
