update on marriage

The best advice I can give came from a sermon. When two people are putting God First- a marriage will not fail!!! Everything else becomes trivial because the focus is not on either of you. It is all about God and when we put him first- everything else just seems to fall into place. It's when we try to do it on our own that everything seems to fall apart! Prayers for your marriage, seek him first and you will find peace beyond measure!

In my 42 years of marriage, this has always proven true over and over.
I personally think the big problem is that we as men want to think " she's just not the beautiful young woman I married", well guess what..... Go look in the mirror my friend.

I won't discount the God first plan, but I prefer the spouse first rule. It works for even the non-religious
