Gotcha.
I'm reading a LONG boring book right now called Ghost Wars about the rise of the Taliban after the fall of the soviet regime (attempt of conquest) in Afghanistan.
I'm up to 1995 (the book starts off in the early 80's) and heading towards Sept 11, 2001.

Forgive my ignorance on the IRAQ militant situation. I just assumed the Taliban had crossed over to Iraq by now. I bet at least 1 Iraq IED could be traced back to them.

Everytime I pray one of these prayers I find it odd that I pray for the death of our enemies? Is that wrong to ask as a Christian?
I know & include the safety of our troops in the prayer, but before I'm over the "death to the enemies" sneaks in......
