What is the purpose of this Cuddeback

I got an email about this camera and my first thought was that it was interesting. It has all 3 flash modules that you can change out. Then I got to thinking and I don't know why anyone would alternate between flashes. If you would buy this camera what would your reason be for changing out the flash modules?

Well I don't like any black Flash cameras but here is my reasoning. So I would personally buy a Flash Module and IR module if i bought 2. If not I would just buy the flash module.

All kind of depends on the IR quality of the new cuddebacks. Over the years the only advantage to a Cuddeback IMO is their night color pics. Their IR models have been inferior to say a Moultrie M80 or a Bushnell Trophy Cam HD.

I have one feeder near a County Road so I do not want color flash cameras at that location much because people can possibly see it from the road and then know a camera may be there and steal it...but at the same time I love color night time pics so if moved that camera to a different location back in the woods I would want to use the COLOR night flash pics because nothing beats a color night pic in terms of quality/detail.

If you are going to move the camera around I can see where this might be useful. A flash will take the best pic at night. So if you are on a feeder maybe you want flash pics. If you put the camera on a trail you may want to go with black flash. I kinda agree with you though.

Maybe they had so much trouble with their other models they decided to send a few extra parts so the customer can fix them in the field.

Wish they would send these to stores already because I want to try them out.

I want to try one too. They LOOK great, I just hope they are as good as they look. I'm glad to see them finally switch to the AA batteries.

Agree! I am hesitant also like you but I will give it a shot. Their quality has gone down over the years.

I have an Attack Flash Model now and I put it at my best spot just got the color pics but man it sure does miss alot of pics

I have 2 of the Attack Flash models and 1 of them had a bad rotary switch right out of the box. I have to be very careful when I turn it on to make sure it actually comes on. It works if I'm careful so I never sent it back. Mine do take great pictures and I really like a color picture at night vs black and white.

I can see a use if you have multiple places you might want to stick the camera (I.e. road vs trail). But typically I buy a camera for a particular spot and leave it there. Then I have a few that I constantly move around to new locations. I can't wait to see how these work. I'll be debating to buy some of these new cuddebacks if they work good or either some more moultrie m990 and of course one or two more covert special ops. Have yall seen the new battery pack? Just got an email about it

It almost sounds like a product for the person who wants to use just one camera at a time. Honestly does not make sense to me. Most folks I know who are into cameras enough to care about whether it is flash, IR, or blackflash...own multiple cameras. If you are going to drop Over $200 on a camera these days, you can buy two for that. Cuddeback has done anything particularly special or worthy camera wise in several years. They are just a marketing and endorsement machine. That's what keeps them chugging along IMO.
