Mountain Lion or Bobcat?

That looks like the behavior of an African critter to me.

Not saying it is, but theres no reason it couldn't be a lion.
Or an eagle.
Or a Bob

I hunted one year in the 90's just North of 1604 between Bandera and Military Hwy. a buddy found a track and asked me what it was and it was a Cougar track. My hands are not small and when I made a fist the toes were outside of my fist. Quite a big cat I would say. Too large for a Bob.

Of all the lion hunters I have talked with , none have seen a lion carry it's food up a tree.

I don't think blackbucks can carry fawns up trees....

Could have been a big bobcat or a mountain lion. A big tom like this could get a fawn up a tree pretty easily.

Could have been a golden Eagle! They are big enough to pick a fawn up off the ground!
