Because it is not against the law merely to have record or possess video from a drone.

I really hope the guy takes the hint and is a stand up guy.

I still say the net launcher thing would be fun, and hilarious if the capturing party were to grab the memory card from the camera and post the footage... even better than an LDP....

Google Earth street view is uh.... street view and anyone can see it just walking by so it's not exactly the same thing

Way to take the high road. Shoot the hell out of it if it returns.

Draconian ... that, in itself, is EPIC!

I think you handled this better than 99% of us would have. I love the way you eased into casual, friendly conversation and when he was hooked, you dropped the bomb. I hope this is the end of your encounters with him and his drone, even though I would personally love to see a thread with a picture of you, a shotgun, and the downed drone!

An old 150watt linear amplifier and an old Sideband Cobra CB radio with a slider modification and key the microphone in lower sideband mode when the drone is near. He is flying on 2.4hgz but the RF from the linear amp will shoot the thing down, in other words he will lose control of the thing from the RF bleed over and it will crash somewhere. Equivalent of 450 watts of RF power will override his measley 4 watts within 1/4 mile.
I lost an RC airplane due to this one time and it was found almost 30 miles away in a man's cow pasture.
Truckers with hopped up CB's used to love doing this to us until we found out what was taking control of our airplanes.
                                No firearms involved
