    LGI homes in Austin/Jarrell

My wife and i are looking to buy a house and came across a company called LGI homes. I was wondering if anyone on the Green screen has dealt with this company and what are your impresssion

I just bought a foreclosure in Jarrell but I have never heard that name. I am guessing it is Lennar homes and that they have changed their name due to some bad publicity. I could be wrong though.

Our first home was through LGI.

Worked with us to get my wife's credit up to par.

      Very energy efficient home.

Not the best quality but you get what you pay for.

Some of there more up scale homes I cannot comment on.

          Correct.

You can PM me any question you might have. Been over 4 years since we purchased from LGI but I will answer the best I can.

Jarrell is a really good community. The people are close knit and the school is good. Come be my neighbor

I bought one when I was 19 (was the thing to do in the military). Then 2008 happened ha ha. Home has held up well. Built cheap.. but so are most homes that go up in 2 months in the city. No major issues with LGI and their customer service. Biggest issue is the way the land drains it messed up a lot of driveways.

Long story short. I still own the home and rent it out. I wouldn't buy another but hey I was 19 and it was $130K and in my budget.
