This afternoon I found a medium size bull snake in my barn and I am super excited. Eat lots of rats my good snake. I don't have a lot of rats and mice but one is enough in the barn where I store my scratch grain and corn. I don't want to poison since I have Rat Terriers, well ,and now snakes. We have seen several bull snakes the past couple of years and darn proud of it. Oh, we have horned toads as well so we don't poison our ant beds either.

My FIL told me he killed a snake. I asked to see it, he said it was outside in the trash can. Apparently he cut the head off because as I lifted it out by the tail, two mice fell out of the bull snake...I laughed and said don't kill any more of the good ones. I think he felt bad after that.Comment
