Post up here. http://wfscjobs.tamu.edu/job-board/ A lot of highly qualified people look here for ranch jobs, as do undergraduates willing to work for cheap/free as interns.

    What kind of ranch? Details?

        Thanks 30-30.
No cattle. There is a very small deer breeder operation. This is a hunting ranch bit not a commercial operation. No hunts are sold. A few donated hunts to Christian ministries or groups, and a few friends and clients. We feed a lot of protein and there is a big yard and house area to be maintained. Some deer cleaning to be done during season but you are paid hourly so it is typically overtime.
We need someone who will treat this place like their own and not need to be told what to do daily or weekly. If it needs attention, give it attention. If you see an improvement you want to make, make it. Keep things clean, kept, organized, and maintained. This is a beautiful ranch on the edge of the hill country.

I got a good paying job (VP of company) now but it's not what I want to do the rest of my life. THIS is what I really want to do one day and I would be all over this like white on rice but waiting for my son to be out on his own first. I'm learning that money isn't everything. Can you hold this spot for me for another 5 years? Love that part of Texas as well.

And you could show us how to find arrowheads. I hear you. I would love to do it myself but my wife and kids not so much. And I'd be wanting to hunt and not being able to may kill me.

It runs through it. The battle of the west Nueces took place at the Dutch waterhole, which is on the ranch.
