Pretty sure a small flat bottom boat and small gas motor or even a decent trolling motor would pull that cutter. Sounds like you want to just let the weeds die wherever they wash away to. Therefore, not sure you would cut it all at once, maybe 25% at a time. Some weeds are good for cover, don't wanna remove them all.

If you take a look at the add on Amazon, it looks like something the ladies enjoy doing while you sip your pina colada and watch:
Amazon.com : Jenlis The Original Weed Razer, Lake Weed Cutter, Large Pond Aquatic Plant Cutting Tool, Long and Sharp Razor Blades Shear Cattail, Reed, Lilly & Chara Algae, 48 Inch Cut Width, 25 Foot Throw Rope : Boat Storage : Patio, Lawn & Garden

Haven't done the research. what water clarity is better for fast bass growth, assuming all other variables are the same.
Sister has a new tank, full from recent rain in brown co.

Red color is from colloidal clay in suspension

Clay particles have an ionic charge. (Can't remember if it is + or -) and repel each other so stay in suspension. Phytoplankton "poop" possesses the opposite charge & will bond to the clay particle. It then falls to the bottom & your water will be clearer........until the catfish stir it up again or you have a large rain that brings more clay downstream in the water.

Take 2 quart jars of your water. Do nothing with one since it is your control jar. Put a little bit of decaying plant material in the second jar. In 3-4 days, if your control jar is still muddy & the other is clean, well you need more phytoplankton in your pond. Old hay bales in 2-3 ft of water can help BUT you walk a fine line between fertilizing your pond & causing an oxygen kill from too much plankton.

No quick fixes but Pond Boss is a great resource! IMO, pond dye will not help you.

          Good luck!
