What do y'all think bout this lease?

Found a lease on CL yesterday, called the guy and I'm going to check it out Friday. It's in Mason County, think he said the town was Fredonia..? Not sure. Anyways, it's a little over 800 acres with 9 total hunters, already has stands an feeders set up also has a trailer/RV to sleep in/cook ect....total payment per hunter is $1,475 per year with annual access. Like I said I haven't seen the place yet but it sounds good to me what say y'all? Thanks

We have 9 on our lease and it's 2,900 acres.....for comparison.

Yessir, there was another guy who posted a few weeks back about a lease he found on CL and supossedly someone from here leased it up from what I remember!!

Agreed, even if it is dense brush/trees.

$16+ per acre is pretty steep to me too. There would have to be some big deer there.

Y'all should see our lease in Mason county... We have 10 hunters on like 700ish acres... Then again only like 6 or 7 hunt there regularly

Should I suggest that to the guy? Who I am talking to about the lease in the guy like in charge I guess of everything on the lease

Too many hunters for the acreage for me. I hunted one lease that was around 1300 acres with 8 total hunters and I just felt real crowded and this being 9 hunters on 800 acres just seams small. Also are the stands community stands or do you have a set stand. Community stands are good for the guy that goes hunting a lot but not so good for the guy that only goes a few times a year. The problem is with a set stand is you will probably be the last guy to choose with the good spots already taken. Of course there will always be exceptions to the above and you mights as well go check it out and see for yourself.
