Agreed. Nearly all the memories of her I have including our conversations was about her helping others.

Let us all try harder to be more like that. I know I can do better.

Deb was a huge part of what we do at the Hogboy Hilton. Anyone wanting to celebrate her life is welcome to come out Saturday and join us. Give me some feedback and we'll plan accordingly.

I have so much I want to say but can't find the words. I will put pen to paper over the next few days and gather my thoughts and memories...

This really stings. Deb, you was always one of my biggest cheerleaders. Always there to pick me up. I'd never forget you being there for the passing of my mother. I am blessed to have called you friend and I'm extremely lucky to have had you in my corner.

                      Gonna be a tuff year....

                        Deb at the Lincoln

Awful DAY!!! First I get a call this morning that my Brother has Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer and then an hour later I read this!! WOW! All I can say! I thought about her all day! I found myself reflecting on the hunt she bid on and won in the Chew and John KCA Auction. It was a hunt that I and Karl, owner of the Lincoln Ranch offered up, with me doing the guiding and the cooking. To make a long story short, when that hunt came, We had a blast!! She was so enjoyable and so appreciative of anything you did for her. She was like having a 4 yr old around in one way, because she was a sponge for bowhunting and asked a million questions! She like myself was truly a student of bowhunting and whitetail!! I loved that connection with her!! Weather got bad and really hot but she never complained a bit! So she didn't get the biggest buck on the place but you couldn't of told it by her! I do promise y'all one thing, She could shoot!! She was truly the type of person that makes one think "glass half full" when you were around her!
Deb, Godspeed and prayers for your family!!

She was the first person I met at my fist Bonanza, made me feel so welcomed. God Bless her and her family. Give Brad a big hug for me when you see him Deb.

                              Well said Mr. Ellis.

I had no idea about any of this and am truly at a loss. While I didn't know her well, I did have the privaledge of visiting with her a few times over the years. She was one of the first to hand out a big hug when we would see each other at the Chicken Burn or Bownanza. She will be missed for sure.
