Had a guy I knew end up on the show once. He was running on a motorcycle in Tacoma, WA. Acted like a complete idiot and went to jail.

My favorite episode featured an idiot who was asked to get out of his truck and calmly walked to the tailgate and leaned back while chatting with the LEO. The whole time he had had a joint tucked behind his ear like a pencil. Priceless.

If I recall correct Cops was the first original "reality" tv show! I used to really like it...now all the episodes just seem like reruns.
